Job Description
About the Role The Pick Packer is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch, ensuring products are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition. This role requires attention to detail, speed, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Accurately pick products from shelves or storage areas according to order specifications. Check items for quality, quantity, and damage before packing. Pack products securely to prevent damage during transportation. Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipping or delivery. Maintain accurate order records and update inventory systems as required. Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles. Keep the work area clean, organised, and free from hazards. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies. Qualifications & Required Skills Matric/Grade12 - essential Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is advantageous Strong attention to detail and accuracy Physical stamina and the ability to lift, carry, and move packages as required. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Basic numeracy and literacy skills. Reliable transport Working Conditions Warehouse environment with varying temperatures. May require standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods Working Hours Onsite Head Office: 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:00-14:00 Fridays (Will be required to work on weekends and public holidays) Location: Paarden Eiland, Cape Town
