Job Description
To plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation and load and unload goods safely, a distribution operation in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a Bus Driver.

Responsibilities
• Operate assigned vehicles safely and responsibly in compliance with all road traffic laws, company policies, and client delivery instructions.
• Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation and local knowledge to minimise fuel consumption and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring cargo is properly secured and protected against damage during transit using straps and restraints.
• Complete all delivery documentation accurately including waybills, delivery notes, and proof of delivery receipts for office processing.
• Maintain accurate driver logbooks and trip sheets recording hours driven, distances travelled, fuel used, and any incidents or delays.

Requirements
• A clear criminal record as background checks are conducted for positions involving valuable goods or passenger transport.
• Good knowledge of road networks and geography within the {province} region, with ability to navigate efficiently.
• A minimum of two to three years of professional driving experience with a clean driving record and no major traffic violations.
• Excellent customer service orientation with ability to communicate politely and professionally with customers at delivery points.
• A valid Code 10, Code 14, or equivalent driving licence appropriate to the vehicle class being operated.
