Our team is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Part-Time / Casual Admin Assistant & Housekeeper to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both hands-on housekeeping and administrative work. While the primary focus will be housekeeping, we are looking for someone with a willingness to learn who can be trained to assist with reception duties, guest check-ins and check-outs, reservations, and general administration.

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a passion for providing exceptional guest service.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for someone who wants to build a career in hospitality. The successful candidate will initially assist with housekeeping while receiving training in guest services and administration. As your skills develop, you will take on additional responsibilities including guest check-ins, reservations, and general office administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Housekeeping
• Clean and prepare guest rooms to a high standard
• Clean and maintain common areas, office spaces, and outdoor areas
• Dust, polish, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Change bed linen, towels, and replenish guest amenities
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
• Wash, iron, and manage guest and housekeeping laundry
• Conduct quality checks of rooms before guest arrivals
• Restock cleaning supplies and report stock shortages
• Report maintenance issues promptly
• Ensure all areas remain neat, clean, and guest-ready at all times

Administration & Guest Services (Training Provided)
• Welcome guests and assist with check-ins and check-outs
• Assist with guest enquiries in person, via telephone, WhatsApp, and email
• Help manage bookings and reservations
• Perform basic administrative duties and filing
• Assist with daily operational tasks and record keeping
• Support management with ad hoc administrative duties
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service at all times

REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 10 or equivalent
• South African citizen or valid work permit
• 1–3 years' experience in housekeeping, hospitality, administration, or customer service
• Good written and spoken English
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and email) will be advantageous
• Friendly, professional, and well-presented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Honest, reliable, and trustworthy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety practices
• Willing to work weekends, public holidays, overtime, and flexible shifts when required
• Own transport is advantageous but not essential
• Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the business
