Job Description
Duties:
β€’ Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures, in compliance with regulations.
β€’ Inspect electrical components, such as circuit breakers, transformers, and switchboards.
β€’ Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs on industrial, commercial, or domestic systems.
β€’ Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
β€’ Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
β€’ Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and company's safety policies.
β€’ Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed.
β€’ Collaborate with other trades and departments to support site operation or project completion.

Qualifications and Experience:
β€’ Grade 12 / Matric.
β€’ Trade Test Certificate (Electrician) – recognised by the Department of Labour.
β€’ Valid Wireman’s Licence (advantageous).
β€’ Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in industrial, commercial, or construction environments.
β€’ Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase systems.
β€’ Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety procedures.
