We are looking for a dynamic Health and Safety Manager to lead cleaning services across multiple sites in the Cape Region. To prevent accidents, injuries and work-related illnesses in the workplace. Their role is to create and implement health and safety policies in accordance with the latest legislation and to ensure that these policies are implemented by management and employees.

Duties & Responsibilities
β€’ Identify opportunities and projects to develop a Health and Safety culture within the company.
β€’ Implementation of the Tsebo Health and Safety strategy.
β€’ Provide input to the executive management team for the management and ongoing development of the company business continuity.
β€’ Develop Health and Safety strategy.
β€’ Development, implementation and management of Health and Safety systems to achieve Tsebo Health and Safety KPIs.
β€’ Review policy and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable national health and safety legislation.
β€’ Identify noncompliance with all applicable national health and safety legislation and implement corrective actions.
β€’ Monitor compliance with the Tsebo Health and Safety Policy.
β€’ Participate in the relevant regional Health and Safety Committee.
β€’ Conduct internal investigations into Health and Safety incidents, as necessary.
β€’ Conduct Health and Safety Audits as prescribed by the Health and Safety Policy.
β€’ Ensure that all necessary risk assessments within the country are conducted as per policy.
β€’ Compile and submit H&S reports through to relevant channels.
β€’ Co-ordinate and manage environmental related initiatives.
β€’ Co-ordinate and manage community social responsibility projects.
β€’ Develop and deliver training programs in accordance with site and regional initiatives.

Qualifications
β€’ National Diploma in Safety Management or SAMTRAC 1 + 2
β€’ National qualification in Risk Management or related course ie: NOSA (SAMTRAC) / IRCA / COMSOC / NADSAM or equivalent
β€’ Environmental studies qualification (preferable)
β€’ Minimum of 3 Years operational experience
