Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Monitor and control access to the daycare centre
• Greet parents and visitors in a professional manner
• Ensure all children leave with authorised guardians only
• Patrol the premises regularly to maintain safety
• Report any suspicious behaviour or incidents immediately
• Assist with opening and closing the premises
• Keep daily security records and visitor logs
• Ensure gates and doors remain secure at all times
• Support staff during emergencies or evacuations
• Maintain a safe, calm, and child-friendly environment

Requirements:
• Previous security experience required
• Valid PSIRA Certificate
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Able to work well with children, parents, and staff
• Physically fit and alert
• Must live close to the daycare centre (preferred)

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday

6:45 am – 5:30 pm Location: Linmeyer, Johannesburg South

Pay: R4 500,00 per hour

Work Location: In person
