We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in the heavy equipment and earthmoving sector. They are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to join their team. POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:
β€’ Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on earthmoving equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, bulldozers)
β€’ Troubleshoot faults in wiring, sensors, control units, and CAN bus systems
β€’ Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime
β€’ Interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals
β€’ Conduct on-site and workshop-based repairs
β€’ Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
β€’ Complete job cards and maintain accurate service records
β€’ Requirements:

Trade Test Certificate as an Auto Electrician
β€’ Proven experience working on earthmoving or heavy-duty equipment
β€’ Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
β€’ Knowledge of hydraulic and electronic control systems
β€’ Valid driver’s license (Code 08 or higher)
β€’ Ability to work independently and under pressure
