Our client, a dynamic and growing electrical services company in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, ZA , is actively seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals for a Junior Electrician Apprenticeship program. Apprentices will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced professionals, covering all aspects of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.

Program Overview:
Assist certified electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems. Learn to interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics. Participate in the safe operation and maintenance of tools and equipment. Gain hands-on experience with low and high-voltage systems, conduit bending, and panel board installations. Understand and adhere to all safety regulations and codes governing electrical work. Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing diagnostic tests under supervision. Develop skills in soldering, crimping, and other essential electrical connection techniques. Learn about different types of electrical components, including breakers, transformers, and control systems. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Develop a strong understanding of the electrical trade, preparing for formal certification. Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe at all times. Build a foundational knowledge of electrical theory and practical application. Engage actively in learning new skills and adapting to different project requirements. Requirements:
A Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent qualification. A strong mechanical aptitude and interest in electrical work. Good physical health and the ability to perform manual tasks, including working at heights and in confined spaces. A willingness to learn and follow instructions precisely.
