Job Description
City Power Johannesburg is urgently seeking highly skilled and safety-conscious High-Voltage Electricians to join our breakdown and maintenance response teams. You will be responsible for isolating, testing, and repairing critical 11kV to 88kV municipal distribution networks to ensure a continuous and stable power supply to the residents and businesses of Johannesburg. Requirements:
β€’ N3 Engineering Certificate and a recognized Red Seal Trade Test as an Electrician.
β€’ Minimum 3 years of post-trade experience working on medium to high-voltage municipal or mining grids (11kV to 88kV).
β€’ Valid ORHVS (Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems) certification is a massive advantage.
β€’ Valid Code C1 (Code 10) Driver’s License.
