Job Description
Asgard Global is seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for plumbing installations, maintenance, repairs, and compliance certification. This role is important for company labour registration and compliance, and only candidates registered with the relevant plumbing authority will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial environments
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on water systems, drainage, and sanitary installations
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings and building plans
• Ensure all plumbing work complies with SANS regulations and local municipal by-laws
• Issue Certificates of Compliance (CoC), where applicable
• Conduct inspections and pressure testing of plumbing systems
• Install and maintain geysers, pumps, valves, and water reticulation systems
• Maintain accurate job records and material usage
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards on-site

Minimum Requirements
• Trade Test Certificate (Qualified Plumber)
• Valid registration with the Plumbing Industry Registration Board (PIRB) (Essential – must be current and in good standing)
• Minimum 2–5 years’ practical experience post-qualification
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)

Additional Advantageous Qualifications
• Licensed to issue Plumbing Certificates of Compliance
• Experience in commercial or industrial plumbing projects
• Solar geyser / heat pump installation experience
• Knowledge of water-saving systems and compliance standards
