Maanda NES Investments is seeking a highly experienced and professional Security Inspector to oversee and maintain security excellence at our hospital site. The successful candidate will be responsible for operational oversight, compliance monitoring, incident management, and leadership of security personnel.

Key Responsibilities1. Operational Oversight
• Ensure all security procedures, SOPs, job descriptions, and hospital policies are strictly followed
• Monitor day-to-day security operations across shifts and designated zones
• Identify gaps in security coverage, access control, and staff performance
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure effective parade procedures

2. Compliance & Audits
• Conduct inspections and spot checks on:
• Access control points
• Patrol logs and incident reports
• Uniform standards, grooming, and conduct
• Ensure compliance with:
• Hospital rules and client requirements
• Legal and regulatory standards
• On-post training requirements

3. Incident Management & Escalation
• Take charge of security-related incidents including:
• Violence or disturbances
• Theft
• Missing patients
• Fire emergencies
• Property damage (broken windows/doors)
• Parking violations
• Liaise with hospital management, SAPS, fire department, and emergency responders
• Review incidents and recommend corrective and preventive measures

4. Leadership & Discipline
• Support or initiate disciplinary processes where required
• Mentor supervisors and senior guards
• Address recurring performance and conduct issues
• Conduct regular refresher training sessions

5. Reporting & Management Liaison
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and performance summaries
• Act as the primary contact between the client and Maanda NES Investments regarding security quality and compliance

Minimum Requirements
• Minimum Grade 10
• PSIRA registered Grade B preferred
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a supervisory or inspector role (hospital security experience advantageous)
• Strong knowledge of hospital security protocols
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies ( Shifts)
• Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
