Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

The main purpose of the Warehouse Packing Assistant is to assist the Warehouse Labelling Clerk with the packing of boxes, weights and dimensions of boxes and other entry-level packing functions.

The assistant will add to the professionalisms and organization in the warehouse with regards to the packing of boxes for shipments.
This position will report to the Warehouse Controller.

The Role:

Work closely with the Warehouse Labelling Clerk and fellow Packing Assistant to check and pack all orders in an efficient manner.
Physically check box contents with the warehouse Labelling Clerk, this includes:
Doing box measurements, including weights and dimensions in cm.
Physically pack, seal and stick box labels onto boxes.
Move sealed labelled boxes to the "Awaiting Shelving" bay.

Basic receiving of deliveries in the "Receiving" bay.
Capture basic receiving details onto the mobile app (supplier name, number of boxes, tracking number).
Answer and grant access to suppliers via the receiving gate intercom.
Pack orders together with the other warehouse assistants when required.
Assist the Warehouse Controller with doing physical counts of lodge returns and local delivery pallets and crates.
Keep the warehouse clean and tidy at all times.
