We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Cleaning Manager to join our hospitality team on a fixed-term basis. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and previous experience in hotel or resort housekeeping management. The role requires someone who can work independently, handle pressure, and ensure that all cleaning operations meet the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist with staff rostering and daily task allocations.
• Train, mentor, and supervise room attendants.
• Ensure all safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards are followed.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and manage attendance.
• Inspect rooms and public areas to maintain hotel standards.
• Manage stock, supplies, and report maintenance issues.
• Handle emails, reports, and operate systems such as Opera.
• Maintain professional appearance and behaviour at all times.
• Build and maintain positive client and guest relationships

Skills and Competencies
• Resort-level Hotel Management experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook (5 years).
• Strong knowledge of health & safety standards.
• Experience using the Opera hotel management system.

Qualifications
• Grade 12/Matric
