Reporting To: Senior Executive / Regional Director

1. Position Overview

The Sales & General Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for driving commercial growth (primary role for the short term), operational excellence, and service delivery within the Guarding Division. This individual will oversee large-scale manpower operations, manage key client relationships, lead project implementation, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires a highly experienced professional with deep industry knowledge, strong leadership capability, and a proven track record in both sales and operations.

2. Purpose of the Role

a. Strengthen and grow the company’s guarding portfolio through strategic sales initiatives.

b. Ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and service excellence across all guarding sites.

b. Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality reporting and communication.

c. Drive profitability through effective cost management, budgeting, and revenue oversight.

3. Key Experience Requirements

The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the security manpower industry, including their Industry Expertise

a. Minimum 10 years in security industry sales

b. Minimum 10 years in guarding operations management

c. Minimum 10 years in senior management roles

d. Minimum 5 years technical and maintenance knowledge (security systems, equipment, infrastructure)

This ensures the candidate can operate confidently across all functional areas of the guarding environment.

a. PSIRA Grade B (minimum)

b. Valid driver’s license

c. Must be willing to travel and work outside normal business hours when required

d. Must already be based in the Western Cape
