Job Purpose summary:

To ensure that the correct company products are received, controlled and dispatched. Customers and suppliers should have a delightful experience encountering this person

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES:

Inbound Logistics:
• Book collections with couriers or arrange with Supervisor to schedule driver.
• Report any collection booking problems to Supervisor immediately.
• Do daily tracking on courier portal and escalate problems to Supervisor
• Hand over stock to be credited to Supervisor without delay and supply CMO number.
• Assist with Goods Receiving process when Inbound team is not available
• Assist in offloading containers when needed

Outbound Logistics:

Orders for delivery by driver
• Prepare daily orders for delivery timeously. Orders to be completed by 16:30 or next morning before 08:00
• Hand delivery documents to Supervisor before COB.
• Check deliveries with driver to make sure loaded orders are correct.
• Dispatch orders with most economical method to the company unless instructed otherwise by Supervisor.
• Track the waybill daily and report problems to Supervisors of both branches

Key Account Order dispatches
• Pick and process orders as they become available on Acumatica
• Update Acumatica with correct tracking details information
• Report any booking problems Supervisor immediately
• Prepare orders according to customer requirements with labels and markings.
• Feedback Supervisor with problems on orders dispatched in transit.
• Pick and pack orders and backorders according to date.
• Picking and Packing on Sales Orders with 100% correctness
• Ensure all goods leaving the warehouse has required documentation ( DN ) in parcels
• Adhere to shipping instructions on Acumatica dispatching orders.

Warehousing
• Process orders according to demarcated areas and bins in warehouse
• Always maintain strict security control
• Maintain a clean and tidy stock holding area
• Maintain Health and Safety requirements in warehouse
• Notifying supervisor of packing material levels

Stock and Inventory
• Assist with monthly stock takes
• Zero stock variances
• Pick orders with FIFO method

Collection Room Assistance
• Assist in dispatching Stack team with creating waybills for dispatching stock to CPT
• Assist in Collection room if needed
• Picking & packing of open customer orders marked for collection
• Invoicing of customer orders marked for collection (according to customer payment terms)
• Assist customers professionally and courteously when they collect their orders
• Process physical credit card payments as required for collecting customers
• Ensure all collected orders have required documentation and are properly and clearly signed for
• Maintain a clean and tidy collection room and cage
• Daily administration / filling of paperwork

REQUIREMENTS:

Internal training: During the first week of your employment, you’ll be presented with training plan designed to guide you through your on-the-job training experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Grade 12
• Store Keeping and Stock Control Qualification

Experience required:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet
• One to two years’ experience in warehousing environment
• Customer Service experience
• Exposure to warehouse control procedures
• Working with Courier Companies

Comments and Special Consideration:
• Physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling.

• Overtime due to inherent requirement of job.

Office requirements:
• Working hours 8h00 to 17h00, Monday to Friday.
• Semi-formal dress code.
• Reliable transport to and from the office.
• Good language skills (English), both written and verbal.

• This is a permanent position, subject to a three-month probation period.
