Our client is seeking a highly reliable and experienced Senior Regional Delivery Driver to manage routes and ensure timely delivery of goods across the Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA region. This role requires a professional driver with an excellent safety record, a thorough understanding of local road networks, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for operating a commercial vehicle, loading and unloading packages, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintaining accurate delivery logs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, punctual, and capable of working independently while adhering to strict schedules and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a commercial vehicle for regional delivery routes throughout Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA and surrounding areas. Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and securement of all freight. Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, adhering to scheduled timeframes. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any defects or maintenance needs promptly. Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery (POD) signatures, mileage, and fuel logs. Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions, representing the company professionally. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Identify and report any hazards or unsafe conditions encountered on routes or at delivery locations. Manage delivery exceptions and resolve issues promptly and effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle. Assist with inventory counts and warehouse duties as needed during downtime. Qualifications:
