Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the daily operations of the cleaning contract.

- Lead, supervise, and motivate cleaning staff.

- Ensure all cleaning services meet company and client standards.

- Conduct daily quality inspections and implement corrective actions where required.

- Build and maintain strong client relationships.

- Manage staff attendance, leave, discipline, and performance.

- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements.

- Control stock, chemicals, equipment, and consumables.

- Train and develop employees to achieve high performance.

- Complete all operational reports accurately and on time.

- Ensure the contract consistently meets all service level agreements (SLAs).

- Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

- Grade 12 (Matric).

- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in the contract cleaning industry.

- At least 2 years' experience managing a cleaning site.

- Strong leadership and people management skills.

- Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).

- Valid South African driver's licence.

- Own reliable transport will be advantageous.

- Good knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and cleaning methodologies.

- Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation.

- Excellent communication and administrative skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

- Honest, reliable, disciplined, and professional.
