Key Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles for intercity express deliveries and pickups. Transport documents, parcels, and other goods accurately and efficiently. Plan and execute optimal routes for long-distance travel, ensuring timely arrivals. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring roadworthiness and reporting any issues. Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and delivery confirmations. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies throughout the journey. Provide excellent customer service during pick-up and delivery interactions. Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and transport compartments. Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding trip status and any delays or issues encountered in Port Elizabeth and beyond. Requirements Valid Professional Driver's Permit (PDP) and appropriate driver's license (Code 10 or higher preferred).
