Job Description
Purpose Ensure timely, safe delivery of goods and technical equipment while providing on-site support, training, and excellent customer service, helping our clients operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Logistics: Safely collect and deliver chemical orders, equipment, and other goods to customer sites, ensuring on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery. Load and unload items efficiently, maintain accurate delivery records and Proof of Delivery (POD), perform stock checks, optimize routes, and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
Technical Support & Equipment Installation: Deliver, install, and repair technical equipment (e.g., boilers or dosing/foaming systems). Provide on-site technical support on chemical applications, verify dilutions, and troubleshoot equipment. Conduct training on chemical handling, verification, and correct use of equipment. Assist customers with stock assessments and usage guidance.
Customer Service & Relationship Management: Represent the company professionally, interact with clients, address queries, and ensure high customer satisfaction. Build strong relationships with farmers, site managers, and workers; provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs.
Cost Control & Continuous Improvement: Plan deliveries efficiently to reduce outsourced transport costs, identify opportunities to improve logistics and service delivery, and contribute ideas for process and training enhancements.
Vehicle & Safety Compliance: Conduct daily inspections to ensure vehicles are secure and operational. Adhere to health, safety, and biosecurity protocols, ensuring safe handling, storage, and transport of chemicals. Maintain compliance with SOPs, POPIA, and company standards.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Code 10 driver’s license and Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) preferred
2–3 years experience as a driver, courier services, or technical delivery
Understanding of supply chain/logistics processes
Ability to handle heavy products
Willingness to travel extensively

Advantageous

Experience in hygiene, food production, dairy, or agriculture
Exposure to HACCP, food safety, or quality systems
Ability to train and communicate effectively with farm and factory staff
