Job Description
A logistics company in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a reliable Bus Driver to join its fleet operations team. The role involves transporting goods safely between depots and customers, completing delivery documentation accurately, and conducting daily vehicle inspections. A valid professional driving permit and clean record are essential.

Responsibilities
• Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation and local knowledge to minimise fuel consumption and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Provide polite and professional service to customers at delivery and collection points, representing the company positively in all interactions.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and tidy both inside and out, arranging regular washing and ensuring the cab is free of litter.
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring cargo is properly secured and protected against damage during transit using straps and restraints.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic fines, or near-miss incidents to the transport manager immediately and complete incident reports.
• Complete all delivery documentation accurately including waybills, delivery notes, and proof of delivery receipts for office processing.

Requirements
• A valid Code 10, Code 14, or equivalent driving licence appropriate to the vehicle class being operated.
• Excellent customer service orientation with ability to communicate politely and professionally with customers at delivery points.
• A minimum of two to three years of professional driving experience with a clean driving record and no major traffic violations.
• Good knowledge of road networks and geography within the {province} region, with ability to navigate efficiently.
• Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading cargo, including the ability to lift heavy items when required.
