Job Description
A manufacturing plant in Polokwane, Limpopo requires a Packer to support the production line. Duties include feeding raw materials into machines, packing finished goods, labelling products, and maintaining cleanliness in the production area. Willingness to work shifts and a strong work ethic are the main requirements.

Responsibilities
• Follow all health and safety rules including wearing the required personal protective equipment at all times.
• Carry out general manual labour tasks as directed by the supervisor including lifting, carrying, loading, and offloading materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including sweeping floors, removing waste, and storing tools and equipment properly.
• Assist skilled workers such as mechanics, electricians, or builders by fetching tools, holding materials, and providing general support.
• Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment, or product defects to the supervisor or team leader immediately.

Requirements
• Reliability and punctuality are essential as team operations depend on every member being present and on time.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual work including lifting, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
• The ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English accurately.
• Previous general labour or warehouse experience is advantageous but not always required for entry-level positions.
• For warehouse roles, experience operating a forklift with a valid licence is highly desirable.
• A clear criminal record may be required depending on the nature of the workplace and client requirements.
