Main Responsibilities:
• Assist housekeeping by supplying rooms with clean linen, towels, and supplies, and collect dirty laundry and other relevant items.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, including carpet cleaning, window washing, mattress cleaning, high dusting, and polishing furniture and curtain rails.
• Assist with setting up guest rooms with special amenities or decorations for special occasions.
• Ensure mini bars are correctly stocked and recorded.
• Set up in-room bar trolleys according to menu lists, including required serving equipment such as corkscrews and coasters.
• Assist with transporting housekeeping staff to various areas via golf carts
• Perform rotational cleaning duties, including public areas, and ensure all furnishings, facilities, and equipment are in good repair.
• Assist with moving furniture where required and perform additional duties such as porter assistance.
• Assist with dispatching and receiving outsourced laundry and related functions.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to requests and enquiries courteously and efficiently.
• Adhere to and maintain Health and Safety standards.

Experience and Skills:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and methods
• Good communication and comprehension skills
• Strong attention to detail
• High standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times
• Personal and professional integrity

Inherent Requirements:
• Matric Certificate
• Good communication skills in English
• High level of physical endurance
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work shifts, including night shifts
• Preference given to candidates from Franschhoek and neighbouring areas
