Security Officer Supervisor Summary:
We’re seeking motivated individuals who want more than a temporary role, people that are interested in developing a long-term career in the security field. This position begins as a seasonal role, requiring weekend availability and part time hours. However, it serves as an entry point into our organization.

Security Officer Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
β€’ Provide a welcoming environment and provide needed services for guests
β€’ Patrol ship spaces (outdoor and indoor decks) for suspicious activities and unauthorized people
β€’ Perform a variety of security checks and follow post orders as directed by the establishment
β€’ Investigate incidents and create reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities
β€’ Communicating with Cruise Ship Staff, and ensuring that individuals are doing their assigned duties.

Security Officer Supervisor Requirements:
β€’ PERC Cardrequired(No Exceptions)
β€’ Willingness to submit to a background check
β€’ Some Supervisory experience required
β€’ Ability to commute to Navy Pier - Public Transportation strongly recommended, as parking for staff is not available
β€’ Comfortable being on a ship while on the lake
β€’ Availability to work Friday through Sunday, possible Thursdays.
β€’ Ability to stand up and walk for 8 hours
