Job Description
Our busy restaurant is looking for servers with a friendly smile and a cheerful customer service attitude to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. You will serve our guests in the restaurant by ensuring that they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served in a timely manner, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests
• Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
• Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors
• Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations
• Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities

Qualifications:
• Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
