Job Description
Overview: The Whites Group Inc. is an industry leading security company providing services to the U.S. Government with an international presence. The company is currently seeking to hire Security Guards - Unarmed / Screener

Weekends required. Must have X-Ray and Magnetometer experience.

Pay Rate 23.43 per hour

Responsibilities:
• Exhibit a helpful, friendly attitude in your relationship to all patients, employees, and general public.
• Prohibit unauthorized removal of government property
• Perform access control by verifying and validating requested permissions to enter/exit all identified access control points.
• Report Hazardous conditions in accordance with the SOP
• Report all Emergency's to the Watch Commander
• Perform security related administrative duties identified within the SOP at all identified facility access control points.
• Perform key control, access control measures, patrols and procedures.

Requirements
• VALID PA ACT 235 certification with or with out firearm
• At least 21 years of age, unless you have military service
• Must be US citizen (native born or naturalized)
• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent or higher education
• Able to pass background check and drug screen
• Speak and be literate in English to the extent of writing, reading and understanding printed regulations, orders, instructions, etc.
• All candidates must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
• Meet one of the following additional experience/education requirements:

1. Two years of security or customer service experience within the past five years;

2. An Associate's Degree accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in a related field and at least one year of experience; or

3. Two years of military or National Guard (active duty or reserve) experience; or4. Successful completion of a state certified Police Officer's Standard Training (POST) course; or5. Any reasonable combination of the above (i.e., one year of security experience plus one year of college coursework related the field)
• Prior to working under the Contract, every supervisor and guard must be eligible to possess a valid INDE certification card.

The INDE certification card is evidence that the guard has:

1. Received a favorable preliminary adjudication from INDE

2. Passed the medical examination

3. Completed the required training

4. Passed the required examination(s)

5. Meets all other qualification criteria to be a NPS Contract security guard

NOTE: Prior to working under the Contract, every supervisor and guard must possess a valid NPS identification card.
