Mobile Patrol Security Officer

Employment Type: Part-TimePay Rate: $18.00 per hourSchedule: 3 days a week | 5:30 PM - 5:30 AM

Dunbar Security Solutions is hiring for a part-time mobile patrol position covering overnight hours. This role involves driving between different properties, checking that everything is in order, and making sure sites stay secure throughout the night.Most of the shift is spent on the road, moving from one stop to the next. Some locations may be quiet, others may need more attention and it really depends on the night. The key is staying consistent, paying attention, and handling situations as they come up without needing constant direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive to assigned locations and complete patrol checks during the shift• Walk properties such as shopping areas, office spaces, or industrial sites when needed• Keep an eye out for anything unusual, including trespassing or safety concerns• Write down incidents, hazards, or observations in a clear and timely way• Respond to situations or calls as they come in, following company guidelines• Open or secure buildings and gates when required• Interact professionally with tenants, visitors, or local contacts if needed

Required Qualification:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history• Comfortable driving for long periods, especially overnight• Able to stay alert and make decisions without supervision• Clear communication and basic report-writing ability• Dependable and able to stick to the assigned schedule

Preferred Qualification:

• Previous security or patrol work• Familiarity with handling situations independently in the field
