What will you be doing in this role?

The Security Officer performs internal and external patrols of various buildings and locations. Promptly responds to all unusual emergencies and provides timely written reports to the Watch Commander. Carries out assigned tasks and post instructions. Provides escort services and protects the safety of others.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform internal/external patrol of Medical Center and provide escort services.
• Promptly report all unusual occurrences that occur during assigned shift to the Watch Commander.
• Carries out assigned task and post instructions.
• Completes all required daily activity reports in a neat and timely manner.
• Completes all incident reports in a neat and timely manner ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Responds to emergency calls in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Complies with department policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education:
• High School Diploma/GED - Required
Experience:
• Minimum one (1) year prior security experience preferred
License/Certifications:
• Security Officer Guard Card/California Guard Card - Required
• Valid California's Driver License - Required
