Job Description
Eaton's ES AMER MFGSC division is currently seeking a Packer - 3rd shift at our Dallas, TX facility! The core hours are Sunday - Thursday, 9:00 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour, plus a $1.25 shift differential.

What you'll do:

The Packer will be responsible for packing orders in our Parcel, Pack Center, and Flex Center Pack Out Stations utilizing our Flagship system.

All new hires in hourly positions are placed in a 90-day Introductory period addressing safety, conduct, attendance, quality, and productivity after which they will be evaluated for continued employment.

In this function, you will:
• Utilize packing slips to generate and print move tickers, break down materials, sort styles, verify counts, and restock warehouse locations using RF scanners.
• Verify styles and quantities of picked materials, visually inspect products, scan and place them in shipping cartons. Add packing material to prevent damage, and place packing lists, content labels, and shipping labels as needed.
• Resolve discrepancies. Research all possible solutions to ensure order is accurate.
• Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, report unsafe acts, and perform work of equal of lower classification if necessary.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment.
• Minimum 6 Months experience with two or more of the following: Stand-up Forklift/ Reach Truck / Order Picker, and/or Cherry Picker.
