As a Security Guard - Morning Bike Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns according to post orders.
• Support public-facing operations by assisting with directional inquiries, maintaining a visible presence, and following Allied Universal protocols for incident reporting and escalation.

Minimum Requirements:
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
