Custodian page is loaded## Custodianlocations: Chicago, ILtime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR103794# **Title:**Custodian# **Job Description:****Job Overview**The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned.**Perform janitorial duties* Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule* Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.* Operate motorized cleaning equipment* Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area* Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor* Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures* Stop at risk behavior of others and self* Perform work assignments in a team with other employees* Perform repetitive tasks* Maintain clean work area* Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules* Take direction and respond to supervision* Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner* Fill in during staff shortage* Support shift lead in completing punch-list items* Use proper personal protective equipment* Present a professional appearance and conduct* Understand customer service and satisfaction* Understand reporting systems, and of the environment**Qualification**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/ or Experience:** No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:** May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification.
