We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Cleaning Technician with a specialization in ceilings to join our team. As a crucial member of our post-remodeling cleanup crew for Walmart stores, you will play a vital role in ensuring the newly renovated spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness. This position requires the ability to work at elevated heights, including operating lifts, and involves nationwide travel with accommodations provided.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and sanitize ceilings in grocery stores post-remodeling.

Utilize lift equipment to access and clean ceilings at varying heights.

Ensure all ceiling surfaces are free from dust, debris, and any other post-construction residues.

Scissor Lift Operation:

Operate and maintain lift equipment safely and efficiently.

Demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt to different lift models and specifications.

Comply with safety protocols and guidelines when using lift machinery.

Travel:

Travel to retail grocery store locations across the country to perform cleaning duties.

Employees are paid $7.25 for each hour traveled if your trip is longer than 2 hours.

Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely arrivals and departures.

Adhere to travel schedules and project timelines.

Accommodations:

Stay in hotels provided by the company during the project duration.

Company provides each crew with a vehicle and pays for fuel and tolls.

Maintain a clean and organized living space while on assignment.

Project Management:

Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines.

Communicate effectively to address any challenges or changes in project requirements.

Report progress and completion status regularly.

Qualifications

Experience:

Previous experience in construction cleaning, especially with a focus on ceilings, is preferred.

Familiarity with operating lifts or a strong ability and willingness to learn.

License:

A valid driver's license is required; a commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work at elevated heights and in various environmental conditions.

Physical agility to operate lift equipment and perform manual cleaning tasks.

Compensation:

Pay range for this position is between $10 - $14 per hour.

USA Renovations pays each employee $30 per day while traveling for per diem. (Per diem is exempt from taxation and is paid in addition to your earned wages).

Weekly Pay Days

Bonuses apply if projects are completed early.

Duration
The working season begins January and ends before Thanksgiving. (Individual projects last between 3 days to 6 weeks. Employees travel from project-to-project without returning home until the end of the season)
