Your Role
As the Janitorial Crew Member, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at scheduled work sites to keep the site properly cleaned and maintained. Responsibilities include but are not limited to vacuuming, mopping, carpet cleaning, dusting, disinfecting, and trash removal.

Responsibilities
• Perform all cleaning tasks as assigned at scheduled work sites; ensure tasks are completed in accordance with contract/customer specifications and as instructed by supervisor or crew leader.
• Follow the janitorial dress code for working on the contract site (long pants, shirts with sleeves, and appropriate shoes).&
• Maintain equipment in clean working order.& Assist in keeping van and janitor’s closet clean and tidy.&
• Relay any problems to the Crew Leader or Supervisor.&
• Responsible for notifying supervision of tardiness and absenteeism at least& four hours before starting time if possible.&
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner on the job site at all times.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Entry level experience in janitorial or related fields preferred.
• Competence in areas of skill covered in Sertoma Star's Janitorial Training Program.
• Must be able to lift forty pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation.
