Position Summary

Hire-On Bonus Available — Bonus amount based on assigned area and portfolio.

As a Certified Rover Security Guard, you’ll work in dynamic environments where no two shifts are the same—ideal for professionals who enjoy variety, responsibility, and staying on the move.

Certified Rover Security Guards provide essential security coverage at multiple job sites and adapt to diverse environments and operational needs. This position requires flexibility, with shifts that may include day, swing, or graveyard hours, as well as weekends and holidays.

Candidates must possess a valid guard card, a clean driving record, and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities:
• Site Security: Conduct regular patrols of assigned job sites to deter unauthorized access, prevent theft, vandalism, and ensure the safety of personnel and property.
• Access Control: Monitor access points, verify identification, and enforce security protocols to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Alarm Response: Respond promptly to alarms or other security-related incidents, investigate and take appropriate actions as per company policies and procedures.
• Incident Reporting: Document all security-related incidents, accidents, and violations in detailed reports, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided.
• Emergency Preparedness: Maintain knowledge of emergency response protocols, assist in evacuations, and provide assistance during emergency situations.
• Surveillance: Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems, identifying suspicious activities and taking necessary actions to address potential threats.
• Customer Service: Interact with clients, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance, guidance, and excellent customer service.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and applicable laws, reporting any hazards or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Vehicle Patrols: Conduct security patrols using company-provided vehicles, inspecting parking lots, perimeter fences, and other areas as directed.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and inspections on security equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Collaborative Approach: Coordinate with fellow security guards, supervisors, and site managers to share information, provide support, and ensure a cohesive security team.
• Training and Development: Participate in training programs, stay updated on security best practices, and maintain a high level of professional competence.

Requirements:
• Valid Guard Card: Must possess a current and valid guard card issued by the appropriate state regulatory agency.
• Clean Driving Record: A clean driving record with no major violations or accidents is required.
• Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Reliable Transportation: Must have a car or reliable transportation to commute to different job sites.
• Availability: Must be available to work seven days a week, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts (day/swing/graveyard).
• Physical Fitness: Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods, and lift or move objects as necessary.
• Strong Integrity: High ethical standards, trustworthiness, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
