ABOUT The Majestic:
The Majestic is a unique dining & entertainment experience curated by resident Chef Dustin Trani & Arts Technologist KamranV. Located on the first floor of the historic Harbor House, overlooking the San Pedro harbor, The Majestic is a cafe and full-service dining restaurant with impromptu comedy, music, magic, and entertainment. Via dublab's non-profit project Space Space, The Majestic donates up to half of its proceeds to fund arts programming on The Majestic’s stage and beyond.

DESCRIPTION:
The Majestic is seeking enthusiastic food-service employees with talents and interest in the performing arts: music, juggling, magic, theatre, dancing, poetry, mime, comedy and the indescribable are all encouraged. There is no requirement to have performance experience however on an irregular basis The Majestic employees will have the opportunity to perform on the historic stage where performance legends such as Lucile Ball and Bob Hope performed for military service members in U.S.O. shows when the Habor House it was an Army/Navy YMCA.

Salaries are inclusive of estimated pooled tips.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS (All Positions):
• Relevant experience, depending on the job (Coffee, Bar, Kitchen, Serving, Dishwashing, Hosting, etc)
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety standards and kitchen equipment.
• Comfortable interfacing with customers
• Ability to follow instructions, work quickly, and multitask.
• Physical Demands:
• --work and stand long hours and handle a fast-paced environment
• --lift and carry heavy items (e.g., boxes, containers, equipment).
• --Ability to work in hot, noisy, and sometimes stressful environments.
• --Fast-paced kitchen with potential exposure to heat, sharp objects, and cleaning chemicals.
• --May work evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on the restaurant’s hours
• Enthusiasm for and (ideally) experience in performing arts
• Strong communication skills

• Barista coffee preparation
• Bartending/Mixology
• Food Prep, Setup & Cleanup
• Quality Control & Inventory Management
