This May, DineAmic Hospitality is opening Naia, an expansive riverfront restaurant and bar as well as a luxurious private lounge at 300 N La Salle in River North.

This highly anticipated opening represents one of our most ambitious projects to date and we’re building a driven, detail-oriented team to bring it to life.

Job Summary

Bussers support exceptional guest experiences in our fast-paced, high-volume, full-service restaurant environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, urgency, and a commitment to teamwork. Bussers maintain a clean, organized, and service-ready dining room while assisting the front-of-house team to ensure smooth table turnover and consistent hospitality standards.

Successful candidates anticipate the needs of guests and team members, take initiative to stay productively engaged throughout service, and help maintain clean, stocked, and welcoming guest areas. Bussers work alongside servers, hosts, bartenders, and managers to support efficient service flow and contribute to a polished dining experience.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties
β€’ Clear and reset tables quickly and accurately according to company standards.
β€’ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and guest areas.
β€’ Refill water glasses and assist with beverage service as needed.
β€’ Monitor dining room cleanliness, including floors, chairs, and high-touch surfaces.
β€’ Maintain stocked and organized service stations (napkins, flatware, glassware, condiments).
β€’ Transport dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils safely and efficiently to designated dish areas.
β€’ Dispose of trash and recycling promptly and maintain clean trash receptacles.
β€’ Assist servers and support staff in maintaining smooth dining room operations during service.
β€’ Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to support service flow.
β€’ Complete opening, running, and closing side work as assigned.
β€’ Follow all company policies, sanitation guidelines, and food safety standards.
β€’ Contribute positively to team morale and support fellow team members during high-volume periods.
β€’ Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company hospitality standards.
β€’ Additional duties as needed within the scope of the role.

Minimum Qualifications
β€’ Previous experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant environment.
β€’ Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
β€’ Familiarity with restaurant service standards and dining room procedures.
β€’ Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
β€’ Experience maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards in accordance with local health department guidelines.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
β€’ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift).
β€’ Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds (bus tubs, dish racks, highchairs).
β€’ Frequent movement in a fast-paced environment.
β€’ Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and twist throughout shift.
β€’ Must be able to move safely through kitchen and dining area, including slick floors and tight spaces.
