Job Description

We are seeking to hire a Plumber. The role is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of plumbing systems and to address general maintenance tasks within the facility. The plumber and general maintenance tech will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal. Additionally, the tech will oversee various general maintenance duties to keep the facility in good repair. As the Plumber, you must comply with all safety protocols and procedures as outlined by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and any relevant authorities. You will report directly to the Facility Manager and will provide all required documentation in a timely and organized manner. Responsibilities:

Plumbing Services:
• Inspect and diagnose issues with plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Install new plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings as required.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of the water supply, heating, and waste disposal systems.
• Unclog pipes, drains, and sewer lines as needed.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure they are in good working order.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all building codes and safety regulations pertaining to plumbing.
• Maintain inventory of plumbing supplies and equipment.

Deliverables:
• A monthly report detailing all maintenance and repair activities performed, including hours worked, materials used, and any recommendations for future work.
• An up-to-date inventory list of plumbing supplies and tools.
• A log of any identified issues and the actions taken to resolve them.

Performance Standards:
• All work must be completed in a professional manner, adhering to the highest industry standards and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:
• The plumber and general maintenance worker must have:
• Proven experience in plumbing.
• Appropriate trade certification or licensure in plumbing.
• A strong understanding of water distribution and wastewater disposal in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
