Security Officers Full Time - Part Time

Security Officers act as an instrument of the company and client’s policies in their execution of the Safety and Security Program. This is accomplished through an impartial and consistently cooperative effort on behalf of uniformed team members and Unity Building Security management. You are naturally energetic and alert to your surroundings. Your specialty is the ability to handle pressure and respond to emergencies. Whether writing an incident report or ensuring the safety of our customers employees and their guests, you understand what it takes to get the job done. You must possess strong computer skills.

As a Security Officer, you will:
• Provide the initial response to all incidents of a Police, Fire or Medical nature and act accordingly within the scope of duties as a Security Officer.
• Maintain a uniform and a professional security presence at all assigned locations.
• Manage entry and exit control points at designated properties.
• Monitor a proprietary monitoring station or front desk (fire alarm panel) and monitor Security surveillance systems.
• Conduct safety inspections as directed where established.
• Maintain individual Security Maintain individual security matters. activity records, checklists, and logs. This is computerized.
• Write detailed and accurate incident reports as required using computer skills and emails.
• Respond to any security related complaints and or incident and take appropriate actions.
• Assist public safety officers (FLSD) in the performance of their duties as requested and/or required.
• Perform accountability of all issued company or client’s equipment.
• Perform any other task, requested by management or client within the scope of company policy.

Starting pay rate: $17-$20 / per hour.
