Description
The Restaurant Host creates the first impression of the dining experience by providing a warm and professional welcome to guests. This role ensures smooth seating operations, efficient reservation management, and seamless communication with dining room and kitchen staff to support excellent guest service.

How You'll Shape The Experience & Future
• Greet guests upon arrival, escort them to tables, and provide menus.
• Schedule dining reservations, arrange parties, and coordinate special services for diners.
• Adjust and resolve guest complaints as directed by a supervisor.
• Assign and coordinate tasks for dining room staff to ensure prompt, courteous, and fair service.
• Inspect serving stations for neatness and cleanliness; requisition linens and supplies as needed.
• Ensure menus are clean, organized, and presentable.
• Notify servers of new tables and communicate with line cooks on large party arrivals.
• Train and mentor dining room employees as needed, including scheduling work hours and maintaining time records.
• Assist in planning menus, preparing beverages, and expediting food orders when necessary.
• Handle end-of-shift responsibilities such as totaling receipts, clearing the register, and collecting payments.
• Other duties as assigned.
