The Combination Welder is responsible for preparing and welding materials using MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) techniques. This position is responsible for welding aluminum and steel depending on the product being welded.

This position will report to our facility in Trevose, PA and must be available to work during our normal hours of operation: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM EDT.

Responsibilities of this role include:
• Weld metal components to fabricate or repair products within the plant.
• Create quality welds according to blueprints provided for projects.
• Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping and cutting steel/aluminum parts.
• Ensure that finished products are properly packed, identified, and moved to the right location.
• Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used in a safe manner and that company safety measures are being taken with precaution.
• Perform first piece and periodic inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform simple maintenance and repairs as required.
• Actively participate in cross train as back up to other areas in the manufacturing plant as needed.
• Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and one (1) year of related experience is required.
• Ability to demonstrate basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read blueprints and operate precision measuring devices such as caliper, micrometer, protractors and tape measures.

Physical Demand Requirements
Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. This position works in a production environment with the risk of injury. Some safety equipment must be worn when working with equipment in the shop. Bending, lifting and pushing up to 50 pounds is required.
