Job Description
β€’ Operate manual TIG welding equipment to join stainless steel components according to engineering specifications and welding codes.
β€’ Perform tack welds and full welds in multiple positions, including flat and vertical, on light gauge stainless steel materials.
β€’ Read and interpret complex blueprints, welding symbols, and verbal instructions from manufacturing leadership to complete fabrication tasks accurately.
β€’ Fabricate and assemble sheet metal and stainless steel components as part of custom industrial and commercial equipment builds.
β€’ Inspect finished welds and workpieces for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications, and document inspection results as required.
β€’ Identify and correct weld defects or inconsistencies to ensure high-quality finished products.

Qualifications
β€’ 2+ years experience TIG welding, focused on stainless steel.
β€’ Proficiency in welding light gauge stainless steel, typically 12 to 18 gauge.
β€’ Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and welding callouts.
β€’ Hands-on experience in fabrication, including working with sheet metal and stainless steel components.
β€’ Demonstrated skill in performing high-quality TIG welds in various positions, including flat and vertical.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
