What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access at entry points by verifying credentials, screening visitors and/or deliveries, and monitoring the movement of people and vehicles in accordance with site protocols.
• Support facility operations by observing equipment areas, restricted spaces, and high-value materials, while communicating with site contacts and public authorities when needed.

Minimum Requirements:
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
