Hai Hospitality and LORO, Asian Smokehouse + Bar, is accepting applications for Server Assistant / Server . The position of Service Assistant is the backbone of the Front of House. The goal is to help maintain a high level of service by keeping a keen eye on the dining room, expo line, and bar, SAs are responsible for being the primary food runners, as well as cleaning and resetting tables. Server Assistants make about $600-$800 in tips per week! Fully trained Server Assistants will have the opportunity to move into a Bartender position, which results in an increase in responsibility and expected wages!

What you’ll do in this role:
β€’ Acquaint yourself with our menu, current specials, and cuisine. We'll provide all the info you need to succeed!
β€’ Learn about beer, wine, and cocktails through peer-led beverage training
β€’ Be present and active on the floor, assisting with running side work
β€’ Bus and reset tables, polish glassware, stock supplies
β€’ Assist Bartenders with all aspects of service to enhance the guest experience
β€’ Deliver food to our guests and explain each dish
β€’ Receive, organize, and deliver curbside orders to guests waiting outside

Basic Qualifications
β€’ Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees
β€’ Detect and identify safety issues, and comply with safety guidelines and standards
β€’ Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs, stock inventory, and perform restocking duties
β€’ Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods

β€’ Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
β€’ Ability to work in a variety of temperatures, both hot and cold
