Job Description
We are in need of pipefitters or plumbers with experience on Propress, MegaPress and HDPE piping (Butt fusion) to work on a project at a prison in Teague, TX. Job will be 40 hours per week (Monday - Thursday, four ten hour shifts) with some overtime coming on Fridays as prison escorts and work allows. This is a prevailing wage project. Pay is $34.86/hr plus $11.60/hr in fringe (we pay this as a per diem). No other per diem or travel assistance is offered. Job will last 8-10 months with as many units that are needed to be installed. Must be able to pass a criminal background check to gain access to the prison. Will be with a prison guard escort during work at all times.

Must haves:

-Valid identification proving right-to-work in the US.

-At least 4-5 years of experience on Propress, MegaPress and HDPE piping (or a mix of experience on all three that adds up to 5 years).

-Necessary tools of the trade and PPE.

-Ability to pass the criminal background check administered by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

-No plumbing license is required as you will be working with HVAC piping only.

-Reliable transportation to get to the job, on-time, everyday.
