Main Job Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities
β€’ Patrol designated property to monitor and prevent intrusion, damage, hazards, and breaches of security
β€’ Protect property and tenants from theft, damage, trespassing or accidents
β€’ Provide a visible presence that enforces safety and security
β€’ Identify and investigate suspicious behavior, threats, and irregular activity
β€’ Respond to alarms and requests for help
β€’ Monitor and control entrance and departure of employees and visitors according to prescribed protocol
β€’ Detect and confront unauthorized persons and violators of security procedures
β€’ Check property through electronic monitoring systems
β€’ Enforce relevant laws and regulations pertaining to all individuals on the property
β€’ Report rule infractions and violations
β€’ Monitor and prevent movement of prohibited items into and out of property
β€’ Conduct exterior property checks for maintenance issues, malfunctions, or hazards
β€’ Contact relevant authorities to deal with unlawful or irregular activities
β€’ Use radio or other communication devices in a clear and concise manner
β€’ Prepare written reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents
β€’ Inspect and test fire and security systems
β€’ Implement the prescribed emergency plan in case of emergency

Education and Experience
β€’ High school diploma or GED certificate
β€’ State registration/license
β€’ Current and valid driving license plus a safe driving record
β€’ Knowledge of state laws and regulations
β€’ Working knowledge of security operations and safety practices
β€’ Working knowledge of enforcement policies and procedures
β€’ Working knowledge of safety equipment
β€’ No disqualifying criminal history {We Perform Criminal Background Checks}
β€’ Be at least 18 years of age and/or 21 years of age for certain positions
