Job Description
As a Shuttle Driver at our retail complex, you play a key role in creating a convenient, welcoming, and safe experience for every guest. You'll be responsible for operating a passenger shuttle vehicle along a designated route, assisting guests with boarding and exiting, and ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs at designated stops throughout the property. Your friendliness and attentiveness set the tone for the guest experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest Transportation & Safety
β€’ Safely operate a shuttle vehicle along assigned routes within the complex
β€’ Greet all passengers warmly and provide assistance as needed during boarding and exiting
β€’ Ensure all guests are transported safely, comfortably, and efficiently
β€’ Adhere to scheduled pickup/drop-off times and remain alert to traffic and pedestrian activity
β€’ Provide information to guests about stops, directions, or property amenities when asked

Vehicle Operation & Care
β€’ Perform routine inspections of the vehicle at the beginning and end of each shift
β€’ Keep shuttle clean, fueled, and free of trash or hazards
β€’ Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to management
β€’ Ensure the shuttle is parked in a secure and appropriate area when not in use

Customer Service & Support
β€’ Provide a friendly and helpful presence to all visitors
β€’ Notify security or management of any emergencies or unusual guest behavior
β€’ Maintain a calm and courteous demeanor at all times, even during busy hours
β€’ Be proactive in identifying guest needs and delivering a helpful solution

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
β€’ Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
β€’ Must be able to assist passengers with mobility needs (if applicable)
β€’ Occasional walking and standing required when assisting or inspecting the vehicle
β€’ Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally (for loading small items or signs)

SCHEDULE & ENVIRONMENT
β€’ Shift: FULLTIME Monday- 8a-8p Thurs-Sat 8:30a-6p
β€’ Entire shift takes place outdoors and on property grounds
β€’ Uniform and safety vest provided
β€’ Shuttle route includes scheduled stops and may require quick turnarounds

What we're looking for:
β€’ Must be at least 25 years of age
β€’ Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record required
β€’ Previous experience operating a shuttle, golf cart, or large passenger vehicle is preferred
β€’ Strong customer service skills and communication abilities
β€’ Ability to operate a vehicle safely in high-traffic pedestrian environments
β€’ Comfortable working independently outdoors in varied weather conditions
β€’ Must pass a background check and drug screening
