Position Overview:

As a Journeyman Plumber at DFW Home Services, you’ll handle plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential remodeling work with a high standard of craftsmanship. Working under the guidance of the Master Plumber, you'll have the opportunity to grow your technical and leadership skills while playing an essential role in delivering reliable service to homeowners and remodelers across the Dallas area.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential remodeling projects.
• Create job estimates for remodeling projects, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness in responses.
• Execute work in accordance with project scope and accurately document all work performed.
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently and accurately
• Support apprentices and provide informal guidance and mentorship on job sites
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national plumbing codes
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and remodeling partners to explain services performed
• Accurately track time and materials used for each project
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, and uphold job site safety standards
• Collaborate with the Master Plumber and office team to ensure timely job completion

Qualifications:
• Valid Texas Journeyman Plumber License
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on plumbing experience in residential remodeling and/or service
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and best practices
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills with remodelers and homeowners
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• Comfortable using technology for scheduling, customer communication, and project management.
• US citizen with valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
