Exact Staff is hiring for our client! We are seeking experienced and dependable Summer Dorm Cleaning Team Leads to oversee crews for a university dorm cleaning project in Los Angeles. This is a great opportunity for individuals with custodial leadership or janitorial supervisory experience who can manage teams, ensure quality work, and support project completion in a fast-paced environment.
β€’ Pay Rate: $33.00 per hour
β€’ Location: Los Angeles, CA 90024
β€’ Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (hours may vary slightly, overtime may be required)
β€’ Project Dates: June 13–17, 2026 (Off Sunday, June 14)
β€’ Duration: 4 Working Days | Short-Term Project

As a Summer Dorm Cleaning Team Lead, you will assign work, monitor productivity, inspect completed rooms, and help maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the project.

As a Summer Dorm Cleaning Team Lead, you will:
β€’ Lead and supervise dorm cleaning staff during the project
β€’ Assign daily workloads and keep crews on schedule
β€’ Inspect dorm rooms to ensure cleaning checklists are completed
β€’ Maintain quality standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation
β€’ Support team members with hands-on cleaning as needed
β€’ Communicate with staff and project coordinators regarding progress or concerns
β€’ Maintain a safe and organized work environment

You may oversee duties such as:
β€’ Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces and baseboards
β€’ Cleaning light fixtures and room vents
β€’ Vacuuming carpets
β€’ Cleaning and sanitizing dorm room restrooms
β€’ Walking across campus and standing for extended periods

β€’ Have previous janitorial, custodial, or team lead experience
β€’ Have strong leadership and communication skills
β€’ Can enforce quality standards and attention to detail
β€’ Can lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods
β€’ Have reliable transportation and can work all scheduled project days
β€’ Are flexible to work overtime if needed
