We are seeking a professional, reliable, and observant Security Officer to join our team at a Class-A corporate commercial property. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in high-traffic corporate environments and prioritize elite customer service alongside safety and loss prevention.

As the first point of contact for guests, employees, and clients, you will represent the building's standards of excellence while maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere.

Position Details
• Pay: $18/hour
• Locations: Premier Commercial Properties Across NYC
• Schedules: Weekends/Part Time
• Shifts: Day, Afternoon, Overnight

Key Responsibilities
• Access Control: Manage the lobby desk, verify employee identification, and process visitors using digital visitor management systems.
• Patrols: Conduct regular foot patrols of the interior and exterior perimeters, including mechanical floors and common areas.
• Emergency Response: Act as a primary responder during fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security incidents, following established corporate protocols.
• Incident Reporting: Maintain accurate digital logs and prepare detailed reports for any unusual occurrences or safety hazards.
• Customer Service: Provide professional assistance to tenants and guests, including directions and general building information.

Requirements & Qualifications
• Certification: Must possess a valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in corporate security or a high-end hospitality environment preferred.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for reporting and client interaction.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic computer systems and CCTV monitoring.
• Professionalism: Ability to maintain a polished, "concierge-style" appearance (dark suit/uniform) and a calm demeanor under pressure.
