Job Description
Tague Lumber is seeking a Box Truck Driver to operate our well-maintained vehicles and deliver building materials to local job sites. This role requires providing friendly, professional service while ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials. Drivers are expected to operate all equipment safely and comply with all applicable highway rules and regulations.
• Previous box truck driving experience, preferably in building materials
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Ensure all materials are properly secured for transport
• Inspect and process customer returns according to company procedures
• Operate a forklift (maintain certification) and/or pallet jack as needed
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure required preventive maintenance is completed on assigned vehicles
• Maintain compliance with all safety policies and DOT regulations

Qualifications
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Medical Examiners Certificate (Med Card)
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
• CDL preferred
