Job Description
Requirements:
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• 2 years stick welding experience
• Torch Operations experience
• TWIC card required
• Experience in various welding rods/stick (60-series and 70-series) welding
• Consent for a pre-employment drug test screening
• A great attitude when dealing with coworkers and customers
• Ability to work Saturday/Sunday as required based on business needs (No Exceptions)
• Ability to travel to various locations for projects (No Exceptions)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions (extreme heat)
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Responsibilities include, but not be limited to:

· Complete welding projects for clients in a timely professional manner

· Assist in selecting and procuring the right material and equipment needed for welding, measuring and aligning workpieces.

· Assisting and evaluating welding procedures and recommending improvements

· Effectively use a variety of hand, power, bench tools, and measuring devices

· Obtain required configurations and positions

· Setup, change and troubleshoot welding processes, welding perimeters, gas flow, and regulations

· Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid warping and shrinkage

· Assist other team members as needed

· Repair lines/leads if damaged

Qualifications:

· Maritime Industry experience preferred

· Ability to pass welding test (3G,4G) via stick according to AWS D1.1 and Arc Marine Welding Procedures

· Operational knowledge of hand tools and power tools

· Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints and instructions

· Ability to climb up to 60ft

· Ability to lift 50lbs

· Willingness to learn equipment usage and troubleshoot minor issues

· Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions

· Ability to follow standard safety standards
